Daystrom in the United States was the owner of Weston Instruments at this time and licensed Sekonic to produce the Master IV under their own name and with the model number L-104. They were also produced by Sekonic for Daystrom badged 'Weston' without the Sekonic name being present. These are identical in every respect to the British made Weston IVs except that on the back they have 'Made in Japan' (source: David Paschke and westonmeter.org.uk)
